# Authenticated Browser Research

Authenticated research is useful when results are visible only after sign-in,
such as private dashboards, saved searches, account-specific pricing, or
internal tools.

## Name the Profile

Tell the agent which browser Profile contains the correct account. Profiles
separate work, personal, customer, and environment state.

```text theme={null}
Use Webcmd with my `work` Profile to review companies in my saved LinkedIn job
search that are hiring Forward Deployed Engineers. Return company, role,
location, description, and source URL. Do not open candidate profiles, apply,
message anyone, or change the saved search.
```

## Complete Sign-In Yourself

If the Profile is signed out, the agent pauses and hands you the browser. Enter
credentials and one-time codes directly in that browser, then let the agent run
the returned verification command. Do not send secrets through chat.

## Keep Research Read-Only

Authenticated pages often place high-impact controls beside the information an
agent is reading. State the boundary explicitly: no messages, applications,
comments, purchases, saved-item changes, or account updates unless separately
approved.

## Verify the Result

The agent should confirm that the expected account and page are active, collect
only the requested fields, attach source URLs, and distinguish unavailable
values from inferred ones. Close the Session when the task is complete unless
you asked to keep it available for follow-up work.
